My brother lives near DC and said this tie-up occurred right where the highway goes to two lanes for normal traffic and two for the Express toll lanes. VA didn't open the toll lanes for the storm, which was idiotic. So all those folks who were stuck for hours were in the normal lanes while the toll lanes were empty. But what a horror show. |
