Absolutely. I used to have a 440i F32 as my weekend car and a full size pickup truck as my daily driver. Now I drive a Chevy Volt to work. I charge in at home on a Level 2 charger and Level 1 at work. My fuel consumption has gone down to 6 gallons per 2000 miles.
On the weekend I drive a large gas guzzling Tahoe around town and enjoy burning 15 MPG of sweet sweet fossil fuel.
