I test drove a new C220d today and it pulled like a freight train. The tech is definitely there but I question the longevity of these engines albeit they are cheaper to produce. Very impressed with it. Felt stronger than a 320d. With manufacturers squeezing every last drop of power and providing i6 characteristics in an i4 it makes me wonder which way things are headed. Interesting times.
Agree with comments on electric and towing.
