Not knowing what the source of your sadness is and not being a therapist either, I do a couple of things. I don’t dwell on the past other than lessons learned and I don’t dwell on the things I cannot change. I find those two things keep you in a never ending circle that can keep you from accomplishing good and satisfying things.
Also get your hormone levels checked because that can mess with your emotions. You may have low T or something else going on.
