Las week I was at a Lexus dealer and ask the same question to guy in finance, they told me that if I wanted to pay for the whole car by credit card (75,000) that was fine, they accept that, but only the first 5,000 were free, the rest I would have to pay their commision, and Amex, charges more, so that means I would have to pay more if I use it than if I use a Visa, but that way I could get my points.
