In comparison to what exactly? Your 340? Because that would be a joke, B58 sounds like nothing with over exaggerated exhaust burbles to create some sense of internal combustion happening in the background
Last time I checked all the F series BMW's were the worst sounding BMW's produced to date nobody has ever associated the S54 engine with sounding bad other than the rasp which is easily remediable.
