Mass production of US vehicles began with Ford....and then all other US auto manufacturers joined in....the point is that production (and innovation) are inevitable....hence Bosch vs Tesla; and, think about the massive human and financial capital being invested in E vehicles (last yr, MB announced they were investing $12 BILLION to create a larger electric/autonomous vehicle design and production).
