Since I migrated to the wagon my rates dropped way way down to only $1,800/yr or about $150/mo. I live in one of the worst zip codes in Texas for accidents and drive about 25k a year. So it's always going to be bad.

By comparison you might enjoy this figure I had on my 2016 Mustang GT
Single
50 yo male
homeowner
good credit score
one vehicle
no accidents
no tickets
25k/year annual mileage

hold your breath

State Farm: $4560/yr US
Progressive: $4200/yr US
Geico: $3840/yr US
General: $3600/yr US
Safeco: $3480/yr US
Fred Loya: $2640/yr US

Needless to say I went with Fred Loya. The Progressive rep actually had to go check why the Mustang was so high and came back with some story that it was a "recipe" of bad factors that added up to the Progressive just not wanting to insure the vehicle so they offered an exorbitant rate.
