This is correct statement; however basically they cannot blame or void warranty since there is no specific and clear statement about number of LC in user's manual. All is said is that " Don't use Launch Control too often".
There is no doubt that Launch Control or hard acceleration with DSF OFF will put lots of stress on clutch and transmission, but this is an M car not TOYOTA
I have asked my SA several times about the number of times we are allowed to use LC and each time his answer is: Let me figure it out...I will get back to you
