So they are locked in a safe bolted to the wall and floor. So lawfully stored, and only two people have the combination......how far apart from the alcohol should the gun safe be to make it safe? In another building, the fact that guns and alcohol are kept in the same house or the same room doesn't really change things does it? I like to think I can go into the room and pick a bottle of wine for dinner and not be tempted to go on a shooting rampage , if I was going to get drunk in any room in the house this wouldn't be the one. It would likely be in my living room or out on the deck. Again, perfectly legal, and from my perspective perfectly safe.

Its always easy to tell when people have not grown up or been around guns, as they for some reason think the suckers just go off on their own.
Anyway - here is my whiskey shelf of open bottles that is in the room next to my gun safe
My unopened bottles are either on a rack in my storage room or in the safe itself if they are higher dollar bottles. Mixing stuff is all in the cabinets.
I'll be building a custom set of shelves to keep it better organized here shortly.
