My advice is to not keep it off warranty. Had a friend with a Jeep Grand Cherokee and the thing was a money pit. $7k for new air suspension, $4k for engine issues (Diesel engine), and load of other things that broke. When it all worked, he loved it. But it was in and out of the shop a month out of the year.
