Believe me, with horsepowerfreaks (the guys with the 1200hp E46 M3s) working on the 335i instead of the new M3, I think the 335i will live on as a BMW great (just like the great e30 and e46 M3's). The e92 will be a great as well, and will mark a turning point in BMW...the move from large power enormous machines like the x5 M, the x6M and e92 M3. To 1 series and new m3 will be turbo'd to perfection and keep weight down. To me it seems like the 335i and 135 are already "famous" with online forums and to people on the street. Distant friends who don't even own or like German cars know about how easy it is to make the 335i truly great and powerful in a DD situations.

I am not making this a 335i vs M3. I actually likeD my old laguna seca blue e46 M3 more than my 335i...not that big of a fan of the new E92 M3 though. I decided it wasn't gonna be worth it to switch from a 335i to a e92 m3, even though I know the new M3 is better. I'll just wait til the twin turbo 6 cylinder M3 in the works. I love FI and I understand why a lot of you guys don't, Its just my opinion.
