This is subjective but if it were me, no. From the point of view of engines, I would say no if upgrading from 4 cylinder to another 4. From 4 to 6 banger, I would swallow the distaste for the G20 and go ahead. You could refreshen your F30 with mods and new rims to keep your interest going if you decide to keep it.
