I am sorry to hear this. You shouldn't have been denied. Gig workers and freelancers are eligible for benefits per the CARES act.

Something went wrong. I'd contact your UE office and fight it. You're entitled to that money as long as you pay taxes.

It's retroactive, so you can receive payments from the time you were impacted.
