the thread is comparing this modified m235i to the M2. 1 comes already packed with goods and the other needs money poured into it. So taking that into consideration i made my comments.

And I somewhat disagree with "you are never going to recover costs" on cosmetics (bodykits/paint/wraps) i can see that being the case. I run aftermarket wheels on my car (Vossens) and I could easily sell them and recover 60%, my dinantronics I can rip off and sell as well, my exhaust also... slapping a 15k kit on my car (not so sure) especially after the m2 comes out.

I have some handguns (had no clue they appreciated )

You are never going to recover costs on money you spend on your car. You upgrade it cause it is your hobby and it makes you happy.

If you wanted a good hobby that has good appreciation on equipment, go and buy handguns. They appreciate better than most other hobby items.
