Nice try, but incorrect.

I even verified with BMW Dealer today.

CPO is good for 12 months unlimited miles AFTER the earliest of 50,000 miles or 48 months, whichever comes first.

So a car with 50,000 miles at 30 months, the CPO would kick in the 30th month for 12 months unlimited mileage.

The exception is a CPO sold with 50,000+ miles. A CPO sold in excess of 50,000 miles will be covered for 12 months from date of sale, regardless of mileage.

So a car could have its original warranty expired at 30 months and 50,000 miles and could be out of warranty for the next 18 months. If CPO, it would be covered for 12 months from used car sale date.

However, I am told by Dealership that cars in the high 50,000 miles will most likely not qualify as a CPO Vehicles. As thus, unless car sat in garage from months 30-48 after delivery (unlikely if car had 50,000 miles in 30 months) it would most likely not qualify to be sold as a CPO.
