Selling a used E46 M3 Convertible Driver Door Handle Carrier.
Facilitates opening the driver door from the outside only.
The fault was the flimsy zip tie that secures the cable to create tension. After 17 years, this deteriorated. Don’t get me started why BMW uses a zip tie for this critical joint but they do and it doesn’t last forever.
I have modified the used part by adding 2 zip ties at that joint to secure the cable to provide tension.
Will need to remove Inside door panel and window to access but not too difficult. EXCEPT for the rear window mount angle wedges and eccentric nut that sets the window angle at the convertible top.
Buy this part and I will share the wedge and nut sequence and what I did to sandwich these together on reinstall.
