This policy is offered by most on the big insurance companies, with huge insurance to the dealerships, which is why they push it.
Also, you have to be mindful of the maximum payout since they are capped at $800 for wheel and $1100 or something for rims. There is also a maximum payable throughout the life of the insurance, this is at least the case with Allianz on it's highest policy. Also consider the cost of one of our tyres or rims as well. So make sure you discuss maximum payouts and evrything that's covered prior to signing up and a bit of bargaining might help too.
