This is all subjective though. I haven’t had a phone *not* feel warm, sometimes uncomfortably so, when fast charging in the sweet spot (say anything under 60%), regardless of charging method.

What I will say is that with car wireless chargers, often the phone feels hot but also hasn’t charged much (X3, e-tron, XC90, iX). Whereas if I plug-in to USB C PD, the phone will get hot but also go from 20% to 60% in under ten minutes.

Also often these charging pads are exposed to the sun and the phone gets hot that way too. This is actually the only case I’ve encountered where the phone itself complains about being too hot or starts noticeably throttling.
