Yeah, I mean wasn't that the big impetus behind Android Auto / Carplay? The assumption that anyone with these cars would also have a cell phone that they'd be more comfortable / familiar with / prefer to use as much as possible? Like, the luxury manufacturers in particular should assume everyone driving them is going to have a high end phone with significantly more software engineering time invested in it. Just worry about integrations and call it a day to cut costs instead of trying to nickel and dime us for microtransaction type bull shit.
