If there's money to be made, why wouldn't it happen? But that's the key question - could such a car be profitable? Especially hard to tell given the overall state of the car business, supply chain, rampant inflation, etc.

I like the Supra a lot. Now that a 6MT version is in the wings, I'm considering swapping my Golf R for one, IF I can procure one at MSRP. Toyota dealer in my town claims no markups on anything. I may test them in a few months.
I agree that the Supra is a beautiful car and a head turner. If I wasn't a convertible person I would definitely consider it.
