For me, it is not a Porsche or BMW. My M2C and 718CGTS are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT cars. If they were not, I would not own both.

I do not want BMW to build a Porsche sport car. I just want BMW to build what we all came to love with their sporty sedans/coupes.

The G87 M2/M2C might be the end of the road when it comes to my BMW interests . . . if not the F87? We shall see.

I bought my last German built M

A Mexican M Car is not something I can wrap my head around

I will await the G87 before drawing similar conclusion.

That said, it's not about the country of origin, rather, the product that will dictate my remaining interest in BMW offerings.

Yep, the headlight and taillight looks so uninspiring, I'm going to miss the signature corona rings, lower-case L-shaped taillights and code-able rear fog lights for the tailgaters (eliminated on G-models)..

I'm already at the 'acceptance stage' that the next M2 will be assembled in Mexico. So unless I rob a bank and get me a TT Porsche, the G87 will be the only segment of vehicles with a manual transmission option, so it's what it is..
