Taiwan is amazing! We made a day out of the trip to the distillery, because it's about 25ish miles south of Taipei, but the trip takes longer than you'd expect.
I had one of the best meals I've ever eaten at this place called
Wu's Harbour Cuisine before we went to the distillery. Same county as the Kavalan distillery, about 30-45min away.
If you any bit of a foodie, Taiwan is a great vacation/adventure spot. We eat like royalty each time we go.
