With it raining outside, and traction still on, wheel slip can be mistaken for timing drops.
This is why we do pulls with traction full off, in a safe area of course...but always at the drivers discretion.

I was thinking about that before I made the pull, so I did a test pull beforehand in 3rd gear at 3500rpm and the traction light didn't turn on, so I continued. I didn't see the traction light come on in my pulls either. But you raised a good point and I'll do future pulls with DSC off.
