It looks great, but it has the spider web looking swirls in the clear, not bad, but they are there. The front has a bit of road debris thats nicked the paint. I know its really too late for ppf unless you go and get all that fixed, but i prefer to spend money on performance mods, so expensive paint repairs are prob not gonna happen.

I thought about doing ppf but read that it all needs to be repaired and painted first.

How many of you are not running any sort of PPF? How does your vehicle look? Any tips or tricks to keep it looking good for those who go non ppf.

Also, for light clear coat spider web rings, what would be the best process for that? Otherwise the paint looks great really.

Oh, and some parts of the car have like tiny copperish colored parts kind of stuck in the clear. I tried clay, and it would get some but it would take a lot of work. I just got a 2026 X7 and while I'm washing the car a lot of parts just feel very plastic-y and loose, more so than in the past. For example the tow hook cover on the back bumper is pretty loose and so are some of the door handles. While this may be 'minor' it's still a $100k car. For reference I've previously had 2015 2series, 2018 x1, 2021 x3 (progression of starting a family) and having hand washed those cars myself the difference seems pretty stark.

On the X7, one issue I had is the door trim is loose, which seems like a part defect. At the dealer we walked around the showroom and every car had the same issue with the trim being loose and coming off from the car. I can't imagine it was an intentional design.
